Hotel Review: Conrad Tokyo King Suite Bay View

After flying ANA First Class Square to Narita International Airport and taking the Narita Express to Tokyo, we headed to the Conrad Tokyo, where we were staying five nights. We booked the stay using Hilton HHonors points and because I was a Hilton HHonors diamond, the hotel upgraded us from a standard room to a King Suite Bay View room, which was a nice surprise!     How You Can Do It The Conrad Tokyo is a category 10 hotel on the Hilton HHonors award chart, so a standard room will cost 70,000 to 95,000 points per night depending on what time of the year you stay at the hotel. If you are a silver, gold, or diamond Hilton HHonors member, however, you get the 5th night free whenever you book a 5-night stay. The card gives you 2 free weekend nights after spending $2,500 within 4 months and also gives you free Hilton HHonors gold status, which means you’ll get free breakfast. For the night we were staying, the Hilton Garden Inn Mystic Groton was pricing at $289 a night before taxes. That’s pricey so it’s not a bad idea to...

You know by now I do almost 100% of my shopping online, because it’s convenient, it offers cash back from a portal, and it generally offers lower prices than a physical store. My friends often joke that I even buy toilet paper online, but it’s no joke – I do buy toilet paper and all my household supplies online at Drugstore.com. I’ve shopped there ever since I was in college and along the way, I’ve learned a lot of tips and tricks that when combined together, will really pile on the savings.   Tip #1 – Shop Through a Cash Back Portal If you are not familiar with cash back portals, read my introduction to cash back on everything, a tutorial on how to get cash back when shopping online. With Drugstore.com, however, you will want to go through the cash back portal that gives you the highest cash back AND lets you take advantage of the new customer promotion for $10 off $50 for your first non-prescription order....
