Barclays US Airways Credit Card Increases Bonus to 50,000 Miles

After Amazon Payments died, it became harder to meet large minimum spend and earn large credit card signup bonuses. As a result, I’ve been focusing more on credit cards that have very low minimum spend requirements. One of them is the Barclays US Airways credit card, and the signup bonus has just increased from 40,000 miles to 50,000 miles!   Barclays US Airways 50,000 Miles Signup Bonus   50,000 miles signup bonus after first purchase (no spending requirement!) 5,000 miles discount on US Airways award tickets First checked bag free for you and up to four companions on US Airways flights Annual companion certificate lets you pay $99 plus tax for each companion (up to two) on US Airways flights Annual US Airways Club day pass good for you and one guest Priority boarding zone 2 World MasterCard offers one of the better collision damage waiver (CDW) car rental insurance $89 annual fee not waived the first year   The Main Point The main positive of the Barclays US...

Barclays US Airways Credit Card: Free 40,000 Miles

You may be aware that American Airlines and US Airways recently merged earlier this year. What that means is US Airways is now part of the Oneworld alliance and when the merger is fully completed, US Airways Dividend miles will become American Airlines AAdvantage miles. As a result, I recently opened a Barclays US Airways credit card not only because it has a great signup bonus of 40,000 miles after the first purchase but also because this year could be the last year to get this large signup bonus. Eventually, Citi will become the official issuer of American Airlines credit cards, and US Airways branded credit cards will no longer exist.   Barclays US Airways   40,000 miles signup bonus after first purchase (no spending requirement!) 5,000 miles discount on US Airways award tickets First checked bag free for you and up to four companions on US Airways flights Annual companion certificate lets you pay $99 plus tax for each companion (up to two) on US Airways flights Annual...

100,000 Miles and Admirals Club Membership Via Citi Executive AAdvantage Credit Card

A special, promotional offer for the Citi Executive AAdvantage credit card has been floating around the Internet lately. The offer is targeted to guests who visit an AA Admirals Club and offers a great signup bonus including 100,000 American Airlines miles after spending $10,000 within 3 months and Admirals Club membership for lounge access. On the application page, however, it asks for a 6-digit referral code and a 3-letter airport code. While people have been successful in applying for the card without the referral information, I know some people like to have the application fully completed and only want to apply if they feel it’s official. As a result, I grabbed the promotional offer from the Admirals Club when I was at LaGuardia Airport this past weekend to share the information with you.   Citi Executive AAdvantage The biggest positives of the Citi Executive AAdvantage credit card’s signup bonus is the 100,000 AAdvantage miles and Admirals Club membership. The biggest negative is the $450 annual fee, which is not...
