Wedding Hair and Makeup Cost: Michiko Boorberg

While Michiko Boorberg is not as widely reviewed as some of the other Asian hair and makeup artists, such as Sachiko Hair and Makeup or Sissi Chan, she is still a popular artist that receives a lot of positive reviews. Have a look at the price of her services.

The Main Point

Michiko Boorberg offers both half day packages as well as full day packages. Both half day and full day packages are designed for the bride and 3 bridesmaids. You can, however, add an additional person for $200 for both hair AND makeup or $125 for just hair OR makeup. For the purpose of the price estimate above, I assumed a half day package, which is $1,100 and added an additional bridesmaid hair and makeup for $200. Add in the $200 trial fee and the estimated $200 engagement shoot fee, and the total comes to $1,700.

This price is ok but more in the medium cost level compared to some of the other hair and makeup artists I’ve discussed. In addition, I don’t like how you might get an artist from Michiko’s “dream team” rather than Michiko Boorberg herself if she is unavailable that day. Other than that, most aspects of Michiko Boorberg’s offerings are pretty standard. While an assistant is normally not part of her packages, you can add an assistant for a fee of $150.
