Wedding Venue Cost: Westbury Manor

If NYIT de Seversky is out of your budget but you still want a wedding in a traditional mansion, have a look at Westbury Manor, another popular mansion venue in Long Island. Surrounded by elegant gardens and lots of green, Westbury Manor is especially great when the season changes and has a fantastic charm. The price is quite reasonable as well and a good value more along the lines of Fox Hollow and Jericho Terrace.

The Main Point

One main point to note is that Westbury Manor does not do both a ceremony and reception on Saturday evenings. For Saturday evenings, they offer a cocktail hour and a reception, which lasts five hours! You will, however, have to hold your ceremony elsewhere. Many who want to have their ceremony in a church will consider this caveat a positive while those who prefer to stay put the entire night will consider it a negative.

Another important consideration is that Westbury Manor’s Manor Room has a minimum guest requirement of 185 people. Like my previous post on Fox Hollow’s Garden Terrace, I’ve made the assumption of only 150 guests anyways for better comparison with the rest of the venues I’ve analyzed. With no venue fee and a catering fee per person of $131, the total cost of Westbury Manor comes to $25,673, which is a great value. As with many other popular venues, make sure to book your wedding plenty of time in advance.
