Wedding Transportation Cost: Bermuda Limousine

While my fiancĂ©e and I were not that interested in getting a limo for our wedding transportation needs, we did need to find passenger buses to shuttle some of our guests from one part of New York City to another. Given the plethora of transportation services available in NYC, you would think that plenty of choices exist for passenger buses, but it’s actually quite hard to locate a company that provides coach services without requiring a minimum number of hours or distance traveled. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with Bermuda Limousine, which got good reviews on the Internet.

The Main Point

Unfortunately, the price is way too high to be feasible even if it does include tax and gratuity already. With a capacity of only 24 passengers, that’s a cost of $20.56 a person. A guest could probably cab it from point A to point B within the city for that cost! To be fair, the main reason for the high cost is because normally, passenger coach buses from Bermuda Limousine require a 6 hour minimum rental. Most places won’t even quote you for a shuttle bus unless you plan to book a minimum number of hours or distance. Believe me, I called several car and limo companies, and they either told me a similar excuse or simply ignored my communications with them.

Bermuda Limousine at least made an effort and sought out a price at which I could book a one way pickup and drop off. I hear their regular car bookings are great for those that don’t need a shuttle bus. I also hear their service is excellent. Nevertheless, we didn’t book any transportation from Bermuda Limousine, because we found better value options for both buses and non-buses elsehere. I’ll cover those wedding transportation vendors in a separate post in the future.
